Position location: OSD Chickasha Pre-School - Chickasha
Essential Functions:
This position will teach deaf and hard of hearing students from across the State of Oklahoma. Position is responsible for providing learning experiences by utilizing School curriculum, IEP goals and objectives and other appropriate materials and activities.
Preferred Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or State of Oklahoma Teacher's Certificate or qualifications to meet certification. Preference may be given to applicants with expressive and receptive sign language skills with fluency in American Sign Language.
Selective Qualifications:
An expressive and receptive sign language skill with fluency in American Sign Language.
Salary:
Annual salary is commensurate with education and years of experience;
Bachelor's degree: $33,180.00 to $44,441.25
Employees are provided paid health, dental, life and retirement benefits as well as an option to participate in the State's tax-deferred annuity program.
This will be a 180-day per year, contracted position.
Conclusion
Veteran's preference points apply only for initial appointment in the classified service.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
